Cyclist's hand

Tips to avoid feeling pain and numbness in the hands while cycling

1. Pedal with your arms semi-flexed and not tense;
2. Using a bar end relieves pressure on the palm;
3. Use appropriate gloves that are padded but not too tight;
4. Change the handlebar grips to more anatomical ones;
5. Do not hold the handlebars too tightly. Just hold securely;
6. Don't let the handlebars be too low in relation to the saddle;
7. Check that the brake levers are close to the handlebars;
8. You should always choose a bicycle suitable for your height, of the correct size. If you have any doubts about the best size or positioning, you should book a bike fit with us to carry out an assessment and be able to ride in complete comfort.
