Slovenian cyclist Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) won this Tuesday the 37th red jersey of his career in the Vuelta a España, which he won in the last three years.
The Danish Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) was in second place and the Spaniard Enric Mas (Movistar) in third place.
Overall, the three-time Slovenian champion took the lead and is now 13 seconds ahead of American teammate Sepp Kuss, second, and 26 seconds over a trio of INEOS riders, with Britain's Ethan Hayter closing the podium.
The portuguese João Almeida (UAE Emirates), who rose to 14th place is now at 53 seconds behind the leader.
