The first stage of the Volta ao Algarve starts tomorrow in Lagos at 12:30 pm, a place that usually host the arrival of the first stage. In this edition, the cyclists will have a similar stage, however with a distinct arrival, in Portimão. Along this stage they will pass by Silves, Alte, followed by Picota where the only Mountain Pass of the day will be installed. It follows the passage through Ferreiras, very close to our Bikesul store. After passing through Alvor, the riders proceed to Praia da Rocha, ending at the Avenida São Lourenço da Barrosa, in Portimão. It will be a different arrival with some up and downs before the finish, although it will still benefit the sprinters. The race will be broadcasted live on CMTV and Eurosport 1 starting at 4:30 pm.
