Tadej Pogacar won the Tour de France 2021

Slovenian Tadej Pogačar (United Arab Emirates) won the Tour de France on bicycle that ended last Sunday, 18th of July. The 22-year-old cyclist won this race for the second consecutive time.
Pogacar won with 5 minutes and 20 seconds ahead of Jonas Vingegaard (Team Jumbo-Visma) and with 7 minutes and 3 seconds over Richard Carapaz (INEOS Grenadiers).
In the individual overall Ruben Guerreiro (EF Education-Nippo) was the best portuguese, finishing in 18th place, 54 minutes and 10 seconds behind Pogacar.
Rui Costa, the winner's colleague, finished 77th, 2 hours, 58 minutes and 29 seconds behind Pogacar. The Portuguese beat the leader to win the Tour de France.
