Raquel Queirós, 21years old, born in Vila do Conde, was the winner of this first edition of the women's Volta a Portugal.
Raquel won the last of the four stages, in Loures, and the time trial in Vila Franca de Xira.
The cyclist was third on the first day in Setúbal and seventh on her arrival in Lisbon. She was the overall winner, in second place was Sofia Gomes (VES) (juniors), and third place was Iris Gomes (SCA).
