Portugal elected Best Tourist Destination in Europe

Portugal was considered the "Best Tourist Destination in Europe", in the European edition of the World Travel Awards 2022, for the fifth time in the last six years.

Azores (Europe's Leading Adventure Tourism Destination), Algarve (Europe's Leading Beach Destination), Lisbon (Europe's Leading City Break Destination, Europe's Leading Cruise Destination and Europe's Leading Seaside Metropolitan Destination) and Porto (Europe's Leading City Destination) were highlighted.

This is another recognition for Portugal and for Algarve as well.
