Peter Sagan abandons the Tour de France due to a right knee injury

Slovakian cyclist Peter Sagan (Bora-hansgrohe), who was seven times winner of the Tour de France points classification, withdrew this Thursday from the race due to an injury to his right knee.
Sagan said that after Wednesday at Mont Ventoux the inflammation had worsened.
Without being able to move his leg to compete, this was a difficult decision, but the only one possible.
