Paris-Nice: Laporte won on day one

The Portuguese cyclist João Almeida (UAE Emirates) ended the stage in 40th place, the same as he occupies in the general where the leader is Laporte, with four seconds over Roglic and six over Van Aert.
In the first stage of Paris-Nice, Jumbo-Visma took the first 3 places in the first stage. Frenchman Christophe Laporte took first place, Slovenian Primoz Roglic second and Belgian Wout van Aert third.
