Maria Martins is the European scratch champion

The Portuguese cyclist Maria Martins, 23 years old, was crowned European scratch champion this past Wednesday, by winning gold at the European Track Cycling Championships, taking place in Grenchen, Switzerland.
Silver went to Spain's Eukene Larrarte and bronze to Poland's Daria Pikulik.
