Five Portuguese cyclists finished the stage with the same time as the winner. Pedro Silva was in 32nd place, Pedro Pinto in 41st, António Ferreira in 47th, José Sousa in 48th and Pedro Miguel Lopes in 53rd. Pedro Andrade finished in 74th place, 13 seconds behind Filip.
In the overall standings of the competition, José Sousa was 44th (1.33 minutes from the winner), António Ferreira 50th (at 1.53), Pedro Miguel Lopes 66th (at 8.45), Pedro Andrade 68th (at 8.50) , Pedro Pinto 82nd (at 16.17) and Pedro Silva 87th (at 16.59).
