João Almeida wins the Tour of Poland

The 23-year-old cyclist won the Tour of Poland. Since Rui Costa (Return to Switzerland in 2012, 2013 and 2014) a Portuguese has not won a World Tour event.
This is the biggest achievement of his career so far.
João Almeida finished the last stage, a flat run of 145.1 km between Zabrze and Krakow in 29th position, with the same time as the winner, Dutchman Julius van den Berg (EF Education - Nippo), who clocked 2:58.46 hours .
