Jakobsen won the second stage of the Tour of Wallonia, almost a year after the serious crash

Fabio Jakobsen, from Deceuninck-Quickstep, celebrated his return to winning ways. The Dutchman won the second stage of the Volta to Wallonia, beating Colombian Fernando Gaviria (UAE-Team Emirates) and Belgian Amaury Capiot (Arkéa-Samsic).
Remember that it was in August 2020 that the 24-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in a fall on the Tour to Poland. He was pushed through the barriers by Dylan Groenewegen and went eight months without competing.
