The Four Days of Dunkirk, which were due to take place between the 4th and the 9th of May, were canceled due to restrictions imposed by the French government to contain the covid-19 pandemic.
The cancellation of the race comes three days after the prefecture of the department of the North advised against the realization of the race, since the region has been in confinement since March 19 and remains one of the most contagious areas of France.
This is the second edition of the Four Days of Dunkirk to be canceled.
The French race coincided on dates with the Volta ao Algarve, scheduled between May 5th and 9th, and its cancellation may lead to more formations opting for the Portuguese race.
