David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ) won yesterday, Thursday, the second stage of the Volta ao Algarve on bicycle

French cyclist David Gaudu took the lead in the race by winning the second stage yesterday. There were 182.4 kilometers starting in Albufeira and ending in Fóia, Monchique.
With the goal in sight, two cyclists fell, Sérgio Higuita (Bora-hansgrohe) and Tobias Foss (Team Jumbo-Visma).
David Gaudu is the new yellow jersey and Ricardo Vilela (W52-FC Porto) was the best Portuguese in the second stage, finishing in 12th place.
