American cyclist Brandon Mcnulty (UAE Emirates) won the fifth stage of Paris-Nice this Thursday.
Leading the overall standings is Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma).
In second place in the stage was Frenchman Franck Bonnamour (B&B Hotels-KTM) and in third place Matteo Jorgenson (Movistar), both 01.58 minutes from the first.
The British Simon Yates (BikeExchange Jayco) is in second place and the French Pierre Latour (TotalEnergies) is in third place.
Portuguese cyclist João Almeida (UAE Emirates) was 19th in the stage, reaching the main group, and rose to 18th place in the general ranking, 03.08 minutes from the lead.
The sixth stage takes place today and will link Courthézon to Aubagne, over 213.6 kilometres.
