Albufeira leads again in blue flags

Albufeira was once again distinguished for the environmental quality of its beaches for the fifth consecutive year, with a total of 26 awards. Once again, Albufeira has all of its beaches (25) to receive the Blue Flag of Europe, to which is added the flag to be hoisted in the Marina, placing the municipality in the first place at national level.
 At the regional level, the Algarve continues to be the region of the country to receive the highest number of awards (87), followed by the northern region with 79.
