Albufeira hosts the 4th stage of the 49th edition of the Volta ao Algarve

On the 18th of February, Marina de Albufeira will receive hundreds of national and international cyclists for the 4th stage of this edition of the Volta ao Algarve by bicycle.
The race, over 177 kilometres, starts from Albufeira towards Alto do Malhão, in Loulé.
The athletes will arrive at Marina de Albufeira at 9:30 am and pass through several emblematic points of the city. The official departure is scheduled for 11:20 am, on Avenida dos Descobrimentos.
The 49th Volta ao Algarve runs from the 15th to the 19th of February, with a total of 795 kilometres, divided into five stages. There will be 16 international teams competing, of which 4 are professionals (Caja Rural- Seguros RGA, from Spain; Human Health, from the United Kingdom; Tudor Pro Cycling Team, from Switzerland and Uno-X Pro Cycling Team, from Norway). At national level we have 9 teams.
