You know which muscles are worked in each phase of a bike ride:
1st When we start to pedal, we put force on the pedal forwards and downwards. Here is the quadriceps that gives us this strength.
2nd- During the turn, the legs alternately stretch and retract. The muscles responsible for this movement are the calves, glutes and hamstrings.
3rd- When the foot starts to rise, we have to pull it to compensate for all the effort, and for that, we use the hip muscles.
