The luxurious resort is prepared to receive cyclists, perfect for groups, teams but also for couples who are aiming to have a perfect week of training or exploring the Algarve by bike. From the Resort, in Salgados it's easy ans safe to reach the nicest road of the Algarve.
Dare to challenge yourself on the most famous routes including the alto da Fóia in Monchique and alto do Malhão, finish uphill finish of the Pro Tour roas race Volta ao Algarve.
We recommend a 5 day package in half board basis, although we can adjust it according to your preferences.

Day 1: Welcome to Algarve.
Bikesul will be at the airport to greet you and drive you to Albufeira, just 30 minutes away from Faro airport. We can also pick you at Seville airport if necessary. Please contact us for more info.
Upon arriving at the hotel a general briefing and a bike fit if it's rented to us. If you arrive early you can opt to go for a 30km warm-up ride.

Day 2: Barrocal Villages
Classic mode: 70km/ 44mi -450m /1450ft of climbing 
Enthusiastic mode: 90km/ 57mi - 850m/ 2800ft of climbing 
Expert mode: 115km / 1200m/ 4000ft of climbing
The Barrocal area is located between the coastline and the sierra (the Algarve inland mountain range). A countryside landscape with gentle hills and plenty of car free backroads. The diversity is huge in a very traditional environment. You will visit plenty of small typical well preserved villages of the Algarve in this day.
Meals included:  Breakfast and dinner.

Day 3: Castelo de Silves and Monchique
Classic mode: 80kms /50mi -1000m  /2800ft of climbing - Nível 3 
Enthusiastic and Expert mode: 120kms / 75mi - 1800m / 6000ft of climbing - Nível 4
This routes includes the climb to the most iconic place in Algarve, Foía. It's the highest peak of the Algarve over 900m. On the way you will pass by Silves, with its imponent medieval castle, was the first capital of the Algarve.
Meals included:  Breakfast and dinner.

Day 4:  Carvoeiro Beach and the countryside
Classic mode: 60kms /37mi - 450m / 1400ft of climbing  
Enthusiastic and Expert mode: 85kms / 53mi - 650m / 1800ft of climbing 
Enjoy the marvellous views from the cliffs over the coast of Carvoeiro and ride along small farms, vineyards and dry fruit tree camps of Lagoa council.
Meals included:  Breakfast and dinner.

Day 5: Time to say goodbye
On this day depending on your flight times, you can relaxed in Albufeira area before we transfer you to Faro airport.
Meals included:  Breakfast.

Our tours include Personal Accidents and Liability Insurance only while riding. Nobody wants to think about all the things that could go wrong on their trip, but these things can and do happen.  We strongly recommend that you take out a policy for your travel which covers delayed baggage, medical repatriation and other areas.

Please note: Our bike tour is a "living thing", being influenced by multiple factors such as weather conditions, group riding abilities and trail damage, to name a few. Your local guides are experts in guiding cyclists  and will be continually assessing these factors making tweaks to the itinerary where necessary to ensure that every member of the group has the best experience possible.

Your safety and pleasure on this event are of paramount importance to us. We take every reasonable precaution to ensure the routes we choose are safe, enjoyable, challenging but still within each rider’s ability. All routes are carefully evaluated for their safety and we avoid hazards and traffic as much as is practicably possible.
